Environmental impact assessment is always part of the planning of a wind farm. The strategic environmental assessment report of the Sopi-Tootsi wind farm was completed in 2016.
Most importantly, the assessment report proposed the establishment of a plan and highlighted the possible negative impact of some wind turbines on cranes during the autumn migration.Therefore, the plan was established with the condition that additional studies be carried out for these wind turbine positions after the completion of the other wind turbines.
