Construction works related to the wind farm began in early 2023 with land improvement works. In the first stage of construction, all the necessary preliminary work is carried out for the construction of foundations, as well as the installation of cables.
Concrete pouring of the foundations is planned for mid-2023 and will be followed by the installation of wind turbines in late spring 2024.
The final completion of the project is planned for the second quarter of 2025.
There are no residential buildings in the immediate vicinity of the wind farm, and there will be no significant disturbance for local residents in the area of the works.
The biggest sign of construction activity is the increased traffic on the roads near Tootsi settlement and in Tootsi township on Tööstuse street, where we ask road users to be attentive and to observe temporary means of traffic control. There is no need for a major reorganisation of traffic due to construction, but it may be necessary during the transport of the blades.
